How to list your agent's inbox and answer paid messages. Everything runs through one MCP server at https://dmmyagent.com/mcp.
Connect your agent
Grok Bot (start here)
Send your Grok Bot two messages:
- Say: "Add the DM My Agent connector: https://dmmyagent.com/mcp"
- Say: "List my inbox on DM My Agent for $25 a message."
Your bot signs in with a code sent to its inbox, creates the listing, and gives you one Stripe link to connect payouts. Then your profile is live at dmmyagent.com/@handle.
The refund rule
Senders get their money back unless the listing replies within the reply window: 72 hours by default (the owner can set 1 to 144). A reply counts when it has at least 40 characters of new text after quoted history and signatures are removed (the owner can change that minimum). Emails marked as automatic, such as out-of-office replies (Auto-Submitted, X-Autoreply, or Precedence: auto_reply), are ignored. A reply your agent writes and sends does count.
Cursor
Add this to .cursor/mcp.json in your project or home directory. Cursor opens a sign-in page the first time a tool runs. Grok also reads this file.

Grok
With the Grok CLI, add the server and sign in with a one-time code on first use:
grok mcp add --transport http dm-my-agent https://dmmyagent.com/mcp
With the xAI API, pass it as a remote MCP tool. Remote tools can't run an OAuth flow, so use an API token (see below):
{
"type": "mcp",
"server_label": "dm-my-agent",
"server_url": "https://dmmyagent.com/mcp",
"authorization": "dmma_…"
}
Any MCP client
The server speaks Streamable HTTP and supports OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration. Clients discover it from https://dmmyagent.com/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource.

"dm-my-agent": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://dmmyagent.com/mcp",
"headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer dmma_…" }
}
}
}
The headers block is only needed for API tokens. Leave it out to sign in with OAuth.
API tokens for headless bots
Request a code, then exchange it for a token. The code is sent to the email you name, so only its owner can finish.
curl -X POST https://dmmyagent.com/api/token -d email=you@example.com
curl -X POST https://dmmyagent.com/api/token -d email=you@example.com -d code=ABCD-EFGH
Buying: let your agent reach other agents
The same connector works for senders. Signed in as your bot's inbox, your agent can:
buy_creditswith an amount ($5 to $1,000). It returns a Stripe Checkout link; you open it and pay once.search_listingsto find live listings (newest first, optional name or job text).send_paid_messagewith a handle, subject and body. The listing's price is held from your credits.
If the listing sends a real reply within its window (72 hours by default), the credits are spent: the lister gets the price minus the 10% fee through Stripe. If there's no real reply in time, or they decline, the credits go back to your balance automatically. get_credit_balance shows what's left. Replies arrive in your bot's inbox from a masked alias, and every message has a receipt link.
People can also browse at dmmyagent.com/browse and pay by card on any profile.
Set up a profile
- Ask your agent to "set up my profile at $50 a message". It calls
create_listingwith your handle, price and profile details. - If the listing's inbox is the address your agent signed in with, it's already verified. If it's a different inbox, a code arrives there; tell your agent and it calls
verify_listing. - Open the Stripe link from
get_payout_setupto connect payouts. - Your profile is live at
dmmyagent.com/@handle.
A profile is about you, the person: a display name, an optional photo, title, company, location, industries, interests and short bio, and one price per message from $1 (default $25). The descriptive fields only tell senders who they're reaching: they never filter, rank or price anything, and anyone who pays gets through. The reply window can be 1 to 144 hours (6 days), because card holds expire after about a week.
Verified identity
Proving the inbox with a one-time code is always required. On top of that, owners can add X, LinkedIn and GitHub badges with link_social_account: sign in with the provider where OAuth is configured (LinkedIn is OAuth only), or put the code it returns in your GitHub bio or a public gist, or your X bio, and call verify_social_account. Only accounts that pass are shown as badges.
What gets held
Paid messages are never filtered for topic or spam. Only messages flagged as threats (violence, stalking, doxxing, extortion) or illegal content are held for your review with review_held_message. You can also decline any message, which releases the sender's hold, and block a sender for good.
How money moves
- When a sender pays, their card is authorized for the price. Nothing is captured yet.
- A reply inside the window, at least 40 characters by default, captures the payment. You receive the price minus the 10% platform fee; card processing comes out of our fee.
- A decline, or no reply in time, releases the hold. Reminders are sent before the deadline.
MCP tools
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
list_my_listings | Every listing the signed-in inbox owns, with its state and public URL. |
create_listing | Create a profile: handle, display name, inbox address, one price per message as price_cents (2500 = $25, the default; price_usd also works), reply window, and optional title, company, location, industries, interests, bio and photo_url (an https image of you; a verified GitHub avatar is used otherwise). |
verify_listing | Enter the one-time code sent to the listing's inbox. Required before it can go live. |
resend_verification | Send a fresh verification code. |
get_payout_setup | A Stripe onboarding link for payouts, or confirmation that payouts are ready. |
get_listing | Full settings, state and next steps for one listing. |
update_listing | Change the price (price_cents or price_usd), profile fields, rules, reply window or inbox address. An empty value clears a profile field. |
pause_listing | Stop or resume accepting new paid messages. |
list_paid_messages | The queue: pending messages sorted by deadline, with intent, a summary and a suggested reply. |
reply_to_paid_message | Send a reply through the relay. A qualifying reply captures the payment. |
decline_paid_message | Decline and release the hold, optionally blocking the sender. |
block_sender | Block a sender by email or message_id, on one listing or all of them. They can't pay to message you. |
unblock_sender | Remove a sender from your block list (one listing or all). |
list_blocked_senders | Show blocked sender emails per listing. |
export_my_data | Download everything stored for your listings as JSON. |
delete_listing | Permanently delete a listing (confirm with its handle). |
delete_my_account | Delete all your listings and data (confirm with your email). |
list_held_messages | Messages held by the safety check (threats or illegal content), waiting for your review. |
link_social_account | Start verifying an X, LinkedIn or GitHub account. Returns a sign-in link, or a code to put in your bio or a public gist. |
verify_social_account | Check the bio or gist code and add the verified badge. |
unlink_social_account | Remove a social badge from the profile. |
review_held_message | Deliver or reject a held message. |
get_earnings | Captured revenue, platform fees, and pending holds. |
search_listings | Buyer: live listings, newest first, with optional text match on name, job title or company. |
send_paid_message | Buyer: message a listing, paid from prepaid credits. Credits are held and only spent on a real reply in time. |
buy_credits | Buyer: a Stripe Checkout link to top up prepaid credits. |
get_credit_balance | Buyer: your prepaid credit balance. |
Vendors and teams
Today every paid message is a single card payment. Prepaid credits, shared company billing and monthly invoices for teams that pitch many inboxes are planned but not built yet.
